Epstein acquired a more modest island - the Little St James - back in 1998, but subsequently obtained the more expansive adjacent island in the year 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
This visual evidence reveal he had drawn up development schemes to build upon the 161-acre island by constructing residences, an open-air theater, an submerged workspace and a swimming pool.
